Had the E1 made it to production, its hood slopes all the way down, its wheels still seem contemporary, and its small size would have made it perfect for any city with few parking spaces. Its unconventional twin rear window and sandwich- shaped tail lamps made up the innovative back end. The inside had considerable headroom because to the tall roof, and the battery was hidden beneath the floor like in the majority of modern EVs.
The BMW E1 had a 50hp motor on each wheel, which allowed it to reach 75 mph, which wasn't too awful considering it was the 1990s. The i3 isn't all that different in terms of performance, hitting a high speed of 93 mph, and the car seemed fairly speedy.
